Abstract

Although the influence of humanistic knowledge from Italy is perceptible in the Spanish dialogue of the 16th century, it is not so usual that, at least from the philosophical and literary point of view, it emerges in the various military dialogues that were written in that period. This work, in which will be analyzed a military colloquium written in the second half of the 16th century by a little-known soldier-writer, is aimed at studying the presence of this knowledge, as well as its use in the argumentative process.
