Abstract
This paper analyses the translations made by Gilberto Beccari of the works of Miguel de Unamuno. The main aim of this investigation is to examine Beccari’s translation of Recuerdos de niñez y de mocedad, published in Italy with the title Il fiore dei miei ricordi. This analysis will show Beccari’s translation tecniques, and will also address and evaluate the literary implications of his choices. The last sections of this article assess the contribution of Beccari’s work to the spread of Spanish literature in Italy.
