Abstract
In this work we try to edit the first time a critical way Dialogue between a saleswoman and a stirrup-boy, by Francisco de Moraes. This booklet, which forms part of a group of three dialogues which were published posthumously in Manoel Carvalho’s press, in 1624, also had a handwritten diffusion that was not censored. Here Moraes gives prominence to two representatives from more disadvantaged social classes, such as a saleswoman and a stirrup-boy, whose loves are the centre of the action.
