La forja del nacionalismo galdosiano (1865-1875)

Abstract

This article examines the origin and demarcation of Spanish nationalism as articulated in a series of journalistic and literary texts published by Galdós between 1868 and 1875. Regarding the categorization of his nationalism, Galdós embraces a modernist perspective since he conceives of the nation as a result of the revolutions that took place throughout the nineteenth century.
