Abstract

Towards Performance: Contemorary Theatrical Experiences in Spain

The article studies the most relevant currents in the contemporary experimental drama in Spain, analysing the activity of some groups (Els Joglars, Comediants, La Fura dels Baus), and their production (both in castilian and in catalan), which concretise the most interesting results in actual dramatic experimentalism, such as the coexistence of textual and no textual elements (audio-visual, coreutic, etc.).
