Abstract

Poetic Metamorphoses in Juan Ramón Jiménez "Abril" and "El poeta ha muerto"

Juan Ramón Jiménez’s poems «Abril» and «El poeta ha muerto» will be analyzed starting from the autographs guarded in the “fondo Jiménez” (archivo histórico nacional, Madrid), comparing the original documents with the printed editions. the authorial variants observation constitutes this research starting point which, once again, underlines the Moguer’s poet propensity for the metamorphosis.
