Cervantes y Dante
La luz de la dama y los libros de luz. Conflicto de luces en Dante y Cervantes
Abstract
A comparison between Dante’s Commedia and Cervantes’ Quixote, based on the treatment of light in both works. The article sets out the differences more than the similarities: in the Dantesque work the metaphysical light comes out from the lady, while in the Cervantine work the light is irradiated by books of a certain genre.
