«Dire il desiderio»
«Diré amargamente cómo te amo»: Luis Cernuda's forbidden desire for Serafín Fernández Ferro
Abstract
«Diré amargamente cómo te amo»: el deseo prohibido de Luis Cernuda por Serafín Fernández Ferro
This study aims to demonstrate that Cernuda dedicated almost all the
poems of Los placeres prohibidos to the lover who inspired a more immortal desire, Serafín Fernandez Ferro. In one of the poems of the book, the poet presents himself dying as Orpheus, but not the Orpheus that loved Eurydice, but the homosexual who suffered for Calais, the son of the wind.
