«Un género de tres cabezas». Greguerías between poetry, prose and prose poem.

This essay tries to explore the first greguerías written by Ramón Gómez de la Serna – from the publications on «Prometeo» to the collection of 1917 – illustrating how, in the combination of different literary trends and traditions, the new ramonian genre shows an appreciable blending of prose and poetry; and comparing the features of this unusual literary hybrid with a genre that, in the same years, portrayed an analogous morphological mixture with dissimilar traits: the prose poem.
