Abstract
The article considers the elements of intertextuality between the Libro de buen amor and Dante’s works. The sexual parody of Ruiz is directed against the theological sublimation of love in the Vita Nuova while its polysemic theory contradicts the allegoric system of Divina Commedia, inspirated from Aristotle and Tommaso d’Aquino.
