Abstract
The purpose of this article is to offer a study and an edition of a poem that has gone unnoticed: the Genetlíaco del serenísimo príncipe don Fernando Wenceslao (Madrid, 1667) by Hipólito de Pellicer y Ossau. The analysis, divided into three parts, contemplates biographical, historical, metric and generic aspects. The edition, for its part, modernizes the original spelling.
