Abstract
The article reviews, from a neolachmannian perspective, the main problems related to the text and the prosody of Libro de buen amor and it proposes several amendments that can be considered almost certain. After decades in which prevailed a kind of textual criticism very cautious, more respectful of the practice of the copyists than of the extraordinary stylistic and rhetorical skills demonstrated by Ruiz in his masterpiece, the autor hopes that scholars and editors will work in order to establish a text as possible correct, and not a notary reproduction from late copies, already reactable in various facsimile, diplomatic and critical editions.
